2. Personal data processed
- Identity data: name, surname, date of birth, passport or ID number (for patient registration and legal record-keeping).
- Contact data: phone number, email address, city and country.
- Health data (special category): complaints, medical history, examination findings, test results, surgical and treatment records, examination and treatment photographs.
- Communications: messages prepared through the website forms in WhatsApp and photos you send.
- Usage data: only if you accept cookies, anonymised statistics on how the website is used (see the cookie policy).

- Fulfilling record-keeping and reporting obligations under health legislation

4. Legal grounds
Personal data is processed on the grounds in Article 5 of the KVKK: performance of a contract, legal obligation, establishment, exercise or protection of a right and legitimate interest. Health data is processed under Article 6 for medical diagnosis, treatment and care by the physician and authorised staff bound by confidentiality. Any other use (for example scientific publication of treatment photos) requires your separate explicit consent; identifiable images are never used for advertising. Analytics cookies run only with your explicit consent.
5. Transfers and international transfers
Data may be shared, as necessary, with the hospitals and laboratories where surgery and tests are performed, with the Ministry of Health, the Social Security Institution and other authorities where legally required, with courts in legal disputes and, at your request, with your insurer.
International transfer: WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) and Google Analytics (Google LLC) may store data on servers outside Turkey. When you start a WhatsApp conversation, your messages are transmitted through that service; Google Analytics only runs if you accept cookies. Such transfers are made in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK. You may prefer to share health information by phone or in person.
6. Retention
Data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and for the periods set by law. Health records are kept for the period required by health legislation and then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights (KVKK Article 11)
You have the right to learn whether your data is processed; request information; learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Turkey or abroad; request correction; request deletion or destruction under Article 7; request that these actions be notified to third parties; object to results produced solely by automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
